More Hope - Hosanna, Hallelujah!

Easter (Jesus Christ, His resurrection, and victory over death and sin) means hope and I've seen it in so many places lately!!!!
As listed in the links above....my heart has been touched thinking about.....
  • Palm Sunday and those that cheered and welcomed Him to Jerusalem - HOSANNA!
  • Remarkably this year on Palm Sunday members of the Church in Utah got to participate in the Provo City Center Temple Dedication and rejoice in a building restored to a greater purpose that can bring us closer to Him!  As a part of that dedication, we were reminded of Isaiah 61:3, "Appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified."  He gives us beauty for ashes and guides us safely home.  He may ask, "If I want to remodel, what's that to you?"  We can have faith in the owner of the building.  ;)  Sometimes he lets it rain....but we can remember to look at our life through heaven's eyes, give then as Jesus gives...singing, singing all the day, and remember the Savior, Redeemer of My Soul.
  • George Frederich Handel's Messiah, particularly as performed by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir - really incredible!  Some of my favorites:
    • "And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it" (Isaiah 40:5).
    • "And He shall purify the sons of Levi, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness" (Malachi 3:33).
    • "Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth, good will towards men" (Luke 2:14).
    • "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all" (Isaiah 53:6).
    • "Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be ye lift up; ye everlasting doors, and the King of Glory shall come in.  Who is this King of Glory?  The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.  Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of Glory shall come in.  Who is this King of Glory?  The Lord of Hosts, He is the King of Glory" (Psalm 24:7-10).
    • "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things" (Isaiah 52:7; Romans 10:15).
    • "But thanks be to God, Who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 15:57).
    • "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, and hath redeemed us to God by His blood, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.  Blessing and honor, glory and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb, for ever and ever.  Amen" (Revelations 5:12-14).
  • Anytime we get to reflect on the life of the Savior we are blessed!
  • Even during trials across the world or close by, there is hope!  It might seem that all of the world is turning crazy and choosing a different path, but we can still stand up for right and find peace in the chaos!
