Korea - An Important Part of Who I Am
It was 16 years ago this week that I began one of the greatest adventures of my life - serving as a full-time missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Busan, Korean. This experience has continued to bless my life, as it did this week very directly when we got together for a very special mission reunion. Every missionary that ever served in any mission in Korea....for the past 60 years was invited and it was WONDERFUL! I enjoyed seeing old friends and companions, but was particularly grateful for the chance to be reminded of who I was 14-16 years ago.
I was reminded of the courage and quiet confidence I had as a missionary. I was full of purpose and meaning and confidence....in the Lord and His plan....and great love for a particular group of people. Being around those people and the language and the memories helped me to remember who I truly am. I had a strong testimony before I left on mission and I really wanted to share it, but having the chance to share it in Korea helped me to keep it simple and focused on the most important things and words that I knew. ;) There was no fear....just faith and love!
There are many things I wish I knew before I went. I was kind of immature, but I also had an almost childlike faith and confidence. Being with missionaries and Koreans again helped me feel and remember those experiences and the person I was then. I'm proud of that person and time in my life. I feel like these people knew the real me, the person I want to be. I have grown in many ways since then, but have maybe lost some of the faith and confidence in myself. I was grateful for the reminder of who these people know me as. I immediately felt the same special happiness and confidence when surrounded by those memories. I remember the greatest compliment I ever received as a missionary was from an investigator who told me that I had a heart like a Korean. ;)
Koreans aren't shy, bu they are humble and teachable, they love and give and care about each other, they're united as family. Being together as missionaries from several generations with the shared love for this wonderful group of people was uplifting. There is a unique sense of belonging and unity among Koreans and those who served there - pride, joy, unity, gratitude. I remember Elder Eyring coming to speak to us at a mission conference in 2001. He talked about Helaman chapter 3 (see Helaman 3:24-27) and how thousands of people would join the Church in Korea because of the continual faith and prayers of the returned missionaries who loved these people and continued to pray for them. I thought of this promise and have increased my faith and prayers for these people that I love! :)
Here is a video of the program from that night. Obviously it doesn't include the one-on-one time visits which were the highlight, but it does capture some of the culture, and history, and miracles, and blessings of being a part of this group. One particular blessing I found was at 1:07:20 in the video. It's a picture of some servicemen in Korea - some of the first "missionaries" - and right near the top middle of the picture is my Grandpa Morgan who was there at that time. That is something very special that we share - a love for Korea and the sweet people of that land. I'm grateful to remember who I am....and who I can be because of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Fishers and Hunters
In Jeremiah 16:16, the Lord says through his prophet, Jeremiah, "Behold, I will send for many fishers...and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks." He is talking about the time of the Restoration of the gospel in the latter-days and the gathering of Israel. This is an oft-quoted and even memorized verse, but I really appreciated a recent insight shared with me that has opened my eyes to more about what this means for me.
The Savior invited His disciples in Jerusalem to become "fishers of men."
He invites all of us to come to Him and we can be fishers, too, and share the gospel's message and blessings with others. When thinking about missionary work we often think about being fishers and shepherds, but I hadn't thought much about the importance of being hunters. ;) This may sound too aggressive, but I think it's the example that President Monson has taught. Be deliberate, search after and find and rescue the one.
In studying and thinking about being a fisher and being a hunter a little bit more I came across a wonderful article in the June 2015 Ensign, "Fishers of Men" by Elder Scott D. Whiting (my bishop when I was a youth, definitely one of the fisherman in my life). We work together to extend our Heavenly Father's love and message to all of His children.

Have you fished? Have you hunted? When have you been fished for? hunted after? How did you feel? When helping others come to Christ we must do the work His way and by His Spirit...and I think often it is one person at a time.
I remember a day on a bus in Pusan, Korea in 2001 when I learned for myself how much our Heavenly Father loves each of His children, individually. We weren't the only Christian missionaries in Korea. Religion was actually discussed quite a bit and other churches proselyted...on the streets, on the buses, door-to-door. It wasn't unusual for someone to get on the bus and start shouting their message to the whole busload of people hoping they could convert a large group at once. ;) I would chuckle to myself sometimes when I was sitting on one of these buses, but I have to admit that sometimes I wondered whether that might not have been more effective - why not shout to all the bus, all the world the important message we had of the restoration? :) I remember distinctly an impression one of those days, "No, that's not how we do it. Each person will have their chance to learn and understand and come to know the gospel for himself/herself. This message, this plan, this gospel is for each individual and He sends one missionary to one individual to teach and bring them to Christ."
That's the same pattern we see in 3 Nephi 11:14-15 when the Savior invites every individual to come and feel the marks in his hands and feet for themselves. It's the same lesson He gives in the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15:3-7. He loves us and will find us and bring us home....and He asks us to be fishers, and shepherds, and hunters to seek after His sheep. What a blessing for us and for them! Our Heavenly Father truly loves each of us!

More Joy
There really is joy all around when that's what we seek! Tonight I found more joy at the temple, and particularly when I came across this verse: 3 Nephi 28:10, "And for this cause ye shall have fulness of joy; and ye shall sit down in the kingdom of my Father; yea, your joy shall be full, even as the Father hath given me fulness of joy; and ye shall be even as I am, and I am even as the Father; and the Father and I are one;"
If you go back to the preceding verses you'll find that the Savior is speaking here to the three Nephite disciples who desired to "bring the souls of men unto [Him], while the world shall stand." So, that's the "cause" that will bring a "fullness of joy" and I believe that is very instructive for each of us. We may not all be here until the "world shall stand" but we are here in the world now and every time we bring someone (even and maybe even particularly ourselves) to Him we are blessed!

Witnesses
I have been reminded lately of the importance of witnesses, particularly witnesses of Christ. I recently saw "Savior of the World" with my family. It is wonderful! Everyone needs to see it or read it or listen to the music or study the scriptures referenced (or all of the above)! It is a sweet testimony of the Savior and His mission. I've always loved the shepherds role in the story of Christ's life, but I was particularly touched at the end of Act 1 when the shepherds tenderly come to visit and witness the Savior's birth and then obediently, diligently, immediately and enthusiastically proclaim His birth to all they can find: "Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day, in the city of David, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord."
Then at the end of Act 2 Jesus teaches His disciples to feed His sheep. It occurred to me while watching that the very best way we can feed His sheep is to testify of Him and bring others to Him - the Good Shepherd, the Great Redeemer.
I have also been reading a wonderful book by Elder Oaks, With Full Purpose of Heart. My favorite part of this book happens to be the chapter about being a witness of Christ. I appreciated Elder Oaks' very clear call to each of us to be a witness of Jesus Christ - to teach and testify of Him and live our lives according to His teachings.
"'The fundamental principles of our religion are the testimony of the Apostles and Prophets, concerning Jesus Christ, that He died, was buried, and rose again the third day, and ascended into heaven; and all other things which pertain to our religion are only appendages to it (Joseph Smith, p. 21).'"
"How do members become witnesses beyond the mere fact of their membership? The original apostles were eyewitnesses to the ministry and resurrection of the Savior (Acts 10:39-41). He told them, 'Ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth' (Acts 1:8; Acts 10:42-43). However, He cautioned them that their witnessing would occur after they had received the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:8; Luke 24:49). An eyewitness was not enough. Even the witness and testimony of the original apostles had to be rooted in the testimony of the Holy Ghost (p. 21)."
"The mission of the Holy Ghost is to witness of the Father and the Son (2 Nephi 31:18; 3 Nephi 28:11; D&C 20:27). Consequently, everyone who has received the witness of the Holy Ghost has a duty to share that testimony with others (p. 22)."
"Those that have the gift to know must give their witness so that those who have the gift to 'believe on their words' can enjoy the benefit of that gift (p. 23)."
"As I see the deterioration in religious faith that has happened in my own lifetime, I am convinced that we who are members of His Church need to be increasingly valiant in our testimony of Christ (p. 25)."
One final witness of Christ - the December 2015 Ensign includes a powerful article by President Boyd K. Packer - A Witness of the Savior Jesus Christ. These are very tender insights from one of His chosen leaders. And now each of us must "seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written, that the grace of God the Father, and also the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, which beareth record of them, may be and abide in [us] forever" (Ether 12:41) and then we must go share our witness with the world!! :)

His Plan
Some days don't quite go like you plan. Some weeks, some months, some years. ;) Lately some things haven't gone as planned. I regret to say that when this happens I sometimes feel a bit disgruntled. This happened over and over last night, but even in my frustration I knew I was exactly where I needed to be and where I should be spending my time....and one thing led to another opportunity to serve. Looking back I am grateful and feel very blessed.
This all reminded me that it's important to plan and look forward to something, but also to let go and be flexible and watch for and enjoy the serendipity of life! Looking for and anticipating and even praying for chances to serve will probably help alleviate any frustration, too. I know that His Plan is always better than mine! :)
Here's one thing that is sure to make you smile, even if your day didn't go as planned: Good to Be Alive !!!

Today
Today...I'm grateful for my mother...and all she's taught me. She taught me to go to church. I'm grateful for church. The past week or so I've been lacking a bit of direction and sense of purpose in life. I'm still searching for a calling and purpose, but I'm grateful for opportunities to re-focus. Here are a few thoughts that inspired me today (all very related to things my mother taught me and this day where we honor mothers):

Conversion
Tonight I was grateful to be reminded of the importance of conversion and stories of how people came to believe and know and trust the Lord and His plan and His gospel. I particularly loved hearing the simple story of a devoted sister who grew up in the Church and said that she has been converted as she has lived the principles of the gospel. As it says in John 7:17, "If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself." She is a good person and neat example of doing just that. It helped me reflect on my conversion and reminded me of how I must do that in my life. If we want to learn something we need to do it! :) Also, conversion doesn't need to be and shouldn't be a dramatic one-time event, but a continuous process of growth and refinement,.
I love hearing people's conversion stories! It was my favorite thing to ask people about on my mission and since then really (when applicable). People light up and are so excited to share their joy in finding truth and light and peace and the Savior! It's good to be reminded of the examples of sacrifice and faith and commitment of those that choose to follow the Lord and His teachings. It's wonderful to hear of the miracles and tender mercies that lead to these opportunities.
For me, I'm grateful to have been born to parents who taught me the gospel when I was young. I felt of and continue to observe their love for the gospel. Growing up, I remember tiny experiences here and there of feeling the happiness of the gospel in my life as a child, while reading the scriptures together, going to temple grounds, or listening to prophets. Then when I was thirteen years old I read the Book of Mormon for the first time on my own. It became very real to me then and I found the promise in Moroni 10:3-5 to be real and true. It wasn't one event, but the peace and joy and clarity I felt while reading consistently and completely that helped me to know it was good, it was true, it was the word of God. Knowing the Book of Mormon was true was key in believing and knowing for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was true - the same Church Jesus Christ had established when He was here on the earth had been restored through Joseph Smith with priesthood power and authority and continuing revelation to living prophets. I am grateful for this testimony that gives me strength and peace.
In this discussion of conversion I am reminded of a quote by President Harold B. Lee: “Your testimony is something that you have today but you may not have it always. Testimony is as elusive as a moonbeam; it’s as fragile as an orchid; you have to recapture it every morning of your life. You have to hold on by study, and by faith, and by prayer.”
While striving to hold on to and protect and strengthen that fragile moonbeam I am reminded of one of my favorite chapters in the Book of Mormon - Mosiah 18. Here Alma is teaching the words of Abinadi to the people who have fled from King Noah's rule. They are desirous to learn the word of God and have been converted and wish to be baptized. They are gathered at the waters of Mormon - which is actually where the Book of Mormon got its name. The prophet Mormon, who compiled most of the Book of Mormon, was named after this place where so many came to know of their Redeemer (see 3 Nephi 5:12 and Mosiah 18:30). "...how beautiful are they to the eyes of them who there came to the knowledge of their Redeemer; yea, and how blessed are they, for they shall sing to his praise forever." :)

Proclaim the Everlasting Gospel
Today I feel like I need to do better at sharing who I really am and boldly declaring the truths I hold most dear. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some people call us Mormons because in addition to the Bible we believe in the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. I love the Book of Mormon because it teaches me about Jesus Christ, His doctrine and commandments that will help us return to live with our Heavenly Father. They have a plan for us. They love us!
We believe in the same church that Jesus established on the earth when he was here. It has been restored to the earth by Him in its fulness today! We have living prophets on the earth today who have been given priesthood keys and authority and receive revelation from Jesus Christ, who is the head of the Church. Through faith and repentance and the ordinances of His gospel we are blessed and draw closer to God. This is why we are here on the earth - to learn, to progress, to become like Him. He loves us! He loves you! He has a plan for you!

Baptism
I am grateful for the opportunity I had to attend a really sweet baptism this morning. I need to attend these more often! Everyone needs to feel and know the joy of the gospel of Jesus Christ! There is a special spirit of peace, purity, and joy at every single one and it gives everyone there a chance to pause and think about covenants, what's really important, and what we can do to live closer to the Lord.
I had this song stuck in my head the rest of the day - One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism. It wasn't sung or played today, but it always comes to my mind quickly after a baptism, ever since I memorized it as a little girl to sing with my sister. I love it! I'm grateful for the truths it teaches. It points to one of my favorite chapters in the Book of Mormon - 2 Nephi 31 - that beautifully teaches the doctrine of Christ: faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.
I also love these songs....
....and am inspired to strive to live closer to the Lord, His gospel, His Spirit, and my baptismal covenants.

I have LOVED this song for so long that I don't think I've carefully paid attention to the words as often as I should have. Today I am inspired by the call to testify of our Father's love and plan - to "tell the Father's story" far and wide! His story is all about joy and happiness and love! :) We are blessed to know the story and purpose of our lives here on earth....and every chance we get we should be sharing and telling our Father's story - His plan, His love, His purposes for us, His mercy, His miracles. I'm grateful and excited! You, too? :)

Missionaries
For some reason and many reasons and all of a sudden, today I am particularly grateful for the wonderful opportunity I had to serve for eighteen months as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's almost been 12 years since I returned, but that decision and experience has blessed my life in more ways than I can count or that I probably even know. I'm grateful for the wonderful people I was able to serve with - companions, other missionaries, leaders and members who taught me so much! I'm grateful for those that I met and taught and loved and served and learned from. I'm grateful for the beautiful and wonderful places and neighborhoods that I got to know so well in South Korea. I love Busan and Daegu! I think there is at least one person or lesson or experience or scripture or place or blessing I'm reminded of from my mission everyday.
I LOVE this video - Mormon Missionaries! This is what missionaries are and what they do. For two years after returning from my mission I worked as a teacher at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah. Here's some information and a video that depicts what life is like there as thousands of missionaries prepare to go to all of the world to teach of Jesus Christ. Here's a fun way some missionaries recently shared the joy of the Plan of Salvation! :) Recently Michael Otterson reported in the Washington Post of More Mormons on a Mission.
I'm excited each day when I think about the opportunities I have to continue to share my love for the teachings and Church of Jesus Christ. Recently at a stake conference meeting our stake president asked all of the missionaries to stand up and sing a musical number, Called to Serve. We are a unique stake because we have a whole branch of full-time church and family history missionaries, so I think everyone was looking to them to stand up, but the stake president waited for all of us to stand - we are all missionaries.
I recently read a WONDERFUL book by Clayton Christensen called The Power of Everyday Missionaries. There is much we can do to reach out to those around us in love. The best way to be a missionary is to love and invite and include and be friends with everyone. There is power in living the gospel and not being afraid to share how it blesses us with others.

It's a Miracle!
Today at church I was inspired and grateful that we studied Elder Neil L. Andersen's recent talk entitled It's a Miracle. This is a beautiful talk about the miracle of the life and gospel of the Jesus Christ and how this message has spread across the world and will continue to spread throughout every nation and people. Elder Andersen quotes President Monson who says, "We take most seriously the Savior's mandate..., 'Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.' This cause will continue to go forth, changing and blessing lives....No force in the entire world can stop the work of God."
This is so exciting....and such a MIRACLE and blessing to watch unfold! Hark, All Ye Nations!
....hear heaven's voice!
....truth is restored again!
....all now rejoice!
....truth is on earth once more!
Elder Andersen encourages all of us to be involved. He says, "If you're not a full-time missionary with a missionary badge pinned on your coat, now is the time to paint one on your heart--painted, as Paul said, 'not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God.'....The Lord needs you now more than ever to be an instrument in His hands. All of us have a contribution to make to this miracle."
There is nothing that makes me more excited and happy than thinking of the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ being available to everyone....and being a part of helping that message move across the world to all of Heavenly Father's children. Recently I stood on the shore of the Sea of Galilee at a church that has been built on a spot that might possibly have been near the place that Jesus asked his apostles to "feed my sheep" and take the message of His life and mission and gospel to all the world (see Matthew 28:19 and John 21:16-17).
While I was in that peaceful place I pictured that meeting in my mind and wondered what it would have been like to be there. Then I thought of the 15 men on the earth today who are modern-day apostles and special witnesses of Christ to all the world. They have the same commission to fulfill - to teach all nations of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for them and their testimonies of the Savior....and for the miracle of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ in our day.

Neat!
Here are a few things I think are pretty neat lately....
Have you seen this new website and Elder Oaks' explanation for how it will help people? I think it's wonderful! It makes me happy and excited to know of our Heavenly Father's love for all of His children.
The Lord loves His Asian children! Of course he loves all of His children, but He has many Asian children. :) I have a special place in my heart for them as well. I love Elder Oaks' words and am touched thinking about the great work being done and yet to be done among these children of our Heavenly Father.
We can all be blessed by these teachings and these examples of courage....

Whenever I hear the song of a bird....
I was walking around Temple Square at dusk tonight. It was beautiful. Life was good. As I walked by I was touched by a simple interaction. A small bird was stuck in a tree. It was in a hard to reach place, but a grounds-person was trying to reach it and help it get free. A small crowd of people began gathering nearby - wondering what was going on, but also concerned and some trying to help. I was inspired by their examples to stop and help a tiny and helpless bird.
I was on my way to a concert at the Assembly Hall. These are always nice, but tonight it was really special. Sister missionaries on Temple Square from all over the world were gathered together to sing. They sang joyful and fun cultural songs and songs of peace and praise. It was incredible!
I loved hearing songs from all over the world....and was overcome with gratitude for the unique and wonderful places I've lived and visited and how I felt a part of almost every song they sang. We are all one - children of our Heavenly Father. We have different traditions and backgrounds, but there is so much good and joy. Particularly sweet were Will You Go, Lassie, Go?, Aloha 'Oe, Amazing Grace, and Stars and Stripes Forever - reminding me where I'm from and who I am. :) There is so much good in the world. They finished with an encore medley of I Feel My Savior's Love and My Heavenly Father Loves Me. It was beautiful and finished the night off as it began...."whenever I hear the song of the bird....I know Heavenly Father loves me [and that little bird]."

Hastening...line upon line...
Two things that make me really excited are (1) the gospel of Jesus Christ and (2) the world and all of its citizens. When you put those two things together, I can't think of anything much more exciting.....the growth of the church and gospel around the world to all of God's children! :)
Lately I've felt like these are exciting times! It's so neat to see the Lord's work moving forward....

"The truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country and sounded in every ear; till the purposes of God shall all be accomplished, and the great Jehovah shall say the world is done (Joseph Smith, 1842)."
Wilford Woodruff recalled a priesthood meeting in Kirtland, Ohio in April 1834, "The Prophet [Joseph Smith] called on all who held the Priesthood to gather into the little log school house they had there. It was a small house, perhaps 14 feet square. But it held the whole of the Priesthood of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who were then in the town of Kirtland....When we got together the Prophet called upon the Elders of Israel with him to bear testimony of this work....When they got through the Prophet said, 'Brethren, I have been very much edified and instructed in your testimonies here tonight, but I want to say to you before the Lord, that you know no more concerning the destinies of this Church and kingdom than a babe upon its mother's lap. You don't comprehend it.' I was rather surprised. He said, 'It is only a little handful of Priesthood you see here tonight, but this Church will fill North and South America--it will fill the world.'"
While thinking about these marvelous promises and watching the hastening of the Lord's work in our day, I have also been impressed by the "line upon line" way that the work moves forward. It is not in haste, but with great care that the Lord builds His church and kingdom. He works as we are ready or He helps us get ready. He helps us learn...individually and collectively in the process. He loves us and will teach us and lead us. I see the importance of being prepared to follow Him without delay in order to hasten His work in His time. We must have patience and courage and complete faith.

We can't assume that someone else will save the world for us or share our beliefs and testimony for us....we must stand up, we must be ready, we must open our mouths, we must act!
I'm reading a book right now about the start of the American Revolution and am reminded again of the sacrifice and courage and unknown future that was in front of the those brave leaders. What role do we need to play today in leading out on important issues and sharing our faith? I think we each have an important role and I want to work to be ready everyday to give an answer to anyone that might asking me what I hope for and what my hope is based on (see Moroni 7:41 for explanation of my fundamental hope).
I had an experience this week that made me think about this a little bit more. There were a couple of people from the news standing on the corner outside my work asking a question that upset me, but I wasn't ready to respond. It was an inappropriate question and what I would have liked to have said was something about the importance of not judging others and appreciating the hard word of people that are trying to do their best. None of us are perfect. We can all be doing better, but we should be kinder to each other. "He that is without sin among you let him first cast a stone at her." Jesus tells us to "go and sin no more."
As we study and ponder the scriptures and put the law in our hearts we will be ready to teach and live more like Christ. I want to do better and be ready always! :)

Sunday Thoughts
I was touched by music and scripture and testimony and love today. Today we studied Elder Holland's talk, The Laborers in the Vineyard and the corresponding parable in Matthew 20. I was filled with an overwhelming feeling of love and comfort and peace knowing of God's love for each of His children. It's not too late, if we will accept the atoning love of our Savior. God is good. He is patient. He loves us and will forgive us. He wants us to be happy and be with Him. We must keep our covenants and labor in His vineyard now. I had a meaningful thought at the temple this week. I felt a greater sadness than usual at the thought of being separated from the Lord during this life, but at the same time felt how much He loved us in sending us to the earth to learn and grow and return.
Just a few hours later, I had a neat conversation with someone at the gym who seemed to be looking for God's love. I had the chance to share this testimony of God's love. This guy was very open and talkative. He went to church when he was younger, but hasn't in years and has obviously made many choices since that are contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ, but he said he was thinking about going back. We talked about how it can be hard when people are judgmental, but I shared my thoughts that the most important message of the gospel is love. God loves us and wants us to love others. We aren't perfect and as President Uchtdorf said, we shouldn't "judge [others] because [they] sin differently than [us]." Having the chance to share this testimony of God's love and then hearing it again today has brought me a lot of joy this week.
I heard this same testimony shared by sweet missionaries who returned this week from sharing this love and message for two years. These witnesses were powerful and sweet! I know that God loves all of His children. He sends missionaries all across the world to help all of His children return to Him. In the process these missionaries have the chance to learn and draw even closer to Him. It's a perfect and beautiful plan. We learn even more deeply of God's love as we have the chance to struggle, sacrifice and share with others.
This testimony was reinforced by beautiful music - How Great Thou Art, Our Savior's Love, Onward, Christian Soldiers. While singing Onward, Christian Soldiers I had a few interesting thoughts. I love this song--it was one of my favorites to sing as a missionary. Today while singing in church I thought of the missionaries, the young men who were passing the sacrament, and the father that came into the meeting with a baby in his arms and a burp cloth sticking out of his pocket. Here are the soldiers. :) Again, the plan is perfect. Young men are taught their duty and given the opportunity to learn through service. There is no other battle or leadership position more important than that of a father and mother leading their family in righteousness. Lately there have been many people talking about Mormons and specifically about women in the Church and how we are not equal. I could not disagree more and was reminded again today of how perfect the plan is, how perfect our roles and responsibilities are, and how perfect His love is.
God lives. He loves us. He has a perfect plan for our happiness. We are blessed as we follow Him.
