Heroes and Enduring

For some reason lately I've been a little bit overwhelmed thinking about trials and suffering that many people face.  I know that there is more than just this life and we don't see and understand the full picture.  We all have trials and they can help us grow.  The whole reason we're here on this earth is to grow and progress and become more like God, but it can be very hard.  Sometimes it just seems like too much and I wonder why and how people go on?

Here are a few things that have inspired me.....

Dancer vows to dance again
Letters to God
College athlete ends sport's career to save man's life

God "love us so much more than He loves our happiness."  - President James E. Faust

"As we progress, we learn that while suffering in this life is a universal condition, how we respond to it is a matter of individual choice. And the way we answer life's trials is the basis of our personal growth and discipleship."

"It is for the Lord, not us, to decide the terms of the race of life, including when the race should be over. As long as he lends us breath in mortality, we are to run, even if that means shuffling breathlessly along."

"Eternal life and eternal joy are possible only because of our Savior Jesus Christ and His great and infinite Atonement."  - Elder Robert D. Hales

Love you. You are such a hero to me!
I stayed up late last night and watched the sweet movie. There are so many warriors for God out there in the world. Examples to watch and inspire us. You are that to me!! <3
